Japan, Showca Era (1926-1989)

Suzuribako writing box in carved wood and varnished in cinnabar color. In the center of the lid, inside a polylobed frame, a beautiful and detailed representation of a temple topped by a pine. The outline and sides of the lid, richly decorated with a chrysanthemum flower motif.

20th century

Empire style console table supported by two pilasters carved with leaf motifs, framing the central compartment and supporting the slightly protruding undertop band in which there is a drawer. An ancient empire fireplace rests on the marble top, with a ledge of successive carved and gilded leaves and two tapered pilasters with gilded leaf carvings to support the entablature; in mahogany, the mirror is missing.

Italy, XX Century

Neoclassical style parade plate in enameled ceramic. The plate shows a deep central part with an half-bust picture of a young man. The upper oblique part shows grotesque decorations. The manufacture's brand is on the back.
