Italy, second half of the 19th century

Neoclassical style cabinet in various woods, Italy, second half of the 19th century. Front with central upstand bearing the frieze with letters "s" and "i", pair of side doors, 3 drawers, top and pilasters finely inlaid with marquetterie; molded plinth resting on ebonized feet. Entirely decorated with ebonized frames and parts, maple inlays of clear neoclassical taste.

Vienna Late 19th - Early 20th century

Liberty rocking cradle in bent beech, designed by Jacob and Josef Kohn at the end of the 19th century. The padding with which it is lined internally was added later. It is very curious to remember how this iconic piece of furniture was used in the 1963 film “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni.
