Eastern Europe, Half XIX Century

Austro-Hungarian Empire fir bookcase with mahogany veneered front, Eastern Europe, mid-19th century. Tripartite upstand equipped with a pair of doors and antique blown glass. Body with 3 drawers in the band and pair of doors.

Ceiling bookcase with adjustable shelves; uprights in enamelled metal with adjustable brass finials, shelves in mahogany veneered wood.

Northern Italy, First Half XVIII Century

English-style baroque flap, veneered in walnut and burr walnut, Northern Italy, first half of the 18th century. Front with flap door concealing veneered scarabattolo, equipped with drawers and sliding secret on the top; the front is completed by drawers, 3 drawers and ebonised 45° uprights, the latter technique also used to decorate the moldings and turned feet. Decorated with walnut briar reserves within maple borders. Poplar interior, vents and handles in engraved brass. English furniture from northern Italy was predominantly made in Genoa, but the furniture in question also has Lombard influences in its decoration.

Cupboard with hinged doors, flap door for desk compartment, visible drawers and open compartments; maple and cherry veneered wood, covered with brass plates.

England Late 19th century

Napoleon III secretary desk in ebonized wood with chiseled brass inlays, England late 19th century. Top in white marble with gilt bronze rim, drawer in the undertop band, flap door concealing a castle with 2 drawers veneered in bois de rose and mahogany with blue felt insert, 3 drawers in the lower part, spinning top feet. Decorated with gilded bronzes; oak interior. Shortcomings.

Italy, Late XVII Century

Late Renaissance kneeler in walnut and briar walnut, reduced in the base and subsequently transformed into a cabinet, Italy late 17th century. Notched undertop frame, fascia with 3 framed drawers, central door and drawer in the lower part, reserves within frames on the sides. Decorated with typical Renaissance Greek motifs. Feral feet.

Northern Italy Mid 18th century

Baroque chest of drawers veneered in walnut, northern Italy mid-18th century. Front with 3 drawers plus 1 in the band, decorated with walnut burl reserves within maple thread, uprights at 45 °, cantilever feet replaced, sides paneled with briar undertop band. Spruce interior. Restorations.

Italy, Early XVIII Century

Lombard Baroque chest of drawers in pear wood, Italy, early 18th century. Front with 4 drawers decorated with frames and tiles, the first one equipped with a calatoia; bronze knobs, paneled sides, bracket feet. Originally entirely ebonized and subsequently stripped and brought to wood. A small drawer is missed.

Baroque chest of drawers in walnut, central Italy, early 18th century. Front with 4 drawers with carved walnut tiles, paneled sides, shelf feet. Spruce interior. Various restoration interventions.

Italy, Early XX Century

Eclectic style sitting room in carved linden wood, Italy, early 20th century. Composed of sofa, pair of chairs and corner armchair. Decorated with classic motifs including griffins and leafy elements; carved putti faces complete the ornament. Upholstered seats.

XIX Century - from 1801 to 1900

Flap with walnut riser. Flap with calatoia, cabinet with 2 drawers, front with 3 drawers and ebonized shelf feet. The riser, equipped with paneled doors and 3 internal shelves, has been reduced in size and partially veneered. The whole piece of furniture has ebonized frames. Brass handles and locks. Bottom of one of the drawers replaced.
