Oil on canvas. Ferraù Fenzoni or Ferraù from Faenza was an italian painter mostly active in Todi; representative of the roman mannerism and of the transition to the baroque movement. He was apprentice in Rome during Gregorio XIII's papacy, he took part to several cycles of freascoes commisioned by pope Sisto V. He's subjects were mainly religious. The theme of God Father is recurrent in his production. The painting had been restored and displayed in frame.
