Early Victorian mahogany boat sofa with mahogany veneer and mahogany feather, England, mid-19th century. Curl armrests carved with acanthus leaves, wavy fluted legs ending in a plinth. Upholstered backrest, armrests and seat.

Baroque sofa in walnut carved with leaf motifs, Liguria mid-18th century. Padded back and seat, wavy legs ending with a curled foot.

XIX Century - from 1801 to 1900

Neoclassical style sofa supported by truncated conical legs tightened by a collar at the top and connected to the band by a connecting nut carved in a rose window; entirely carved and gilded. The seat and the raised backrest are lined with the original nineteenth-century tapestries, depicting genre scenes with animals and characters playing. The tapestries were specially made for the sofa, as evidenced by the correspondence with the ornamental drapery.
