Notes historical bibliographic

Ceramica Ronzan: in 1939, after leaving the Lenci company, Antonio Ronzan, with his brothers Giovanni and Giuseppe, founded the "Ronzan" artistic ceramics factory based in Turin. In 1942, due to the war, he decided to transfer production from Turin to Bassano del Grappa, deeming this location safer. Among the collaborators of the manufacture in the early 1940s appears the decorator Rosa Seglie whose ceramics, in addition to the brand of the manufacture, bear her initials RS. In 1949 Giovanni left the factory to his brothers and the trainer Cecchetto and moved to Turin where he founded the "Ceramiche Originali di Giovanni Ronzan" while the Bassano headquarters changed its name, becoming first "Ceramiche Ronzan e Cecchetto" and then into "Ronzan e Son ". In 1968 Antonio left the Bassano headquarters and moved to Turin where he took over the reins of Giovanni's manufacture, leaving the management of the Bassano factory to Giuseppe and his son Renato who maintained the production until 1996. The production, of good quality technical and formal and enjoying good commercial success, it is made up of pottery in a modern style: vases, statuettes, plates and decorative tiles but above all from ornaments of a sacred and religious subject. The production of the factory continues, at the Bassano site, by Giuseppe's son, Renato, until 1996 and at the Turin site, by Antonio's sons, Giuditta and Pietro, until 2001.
