Description : Dripping
Enamels on canvas. The work was created with the dripping technique, that is the direct dripping of color (usually enamels or industrial colors) on the canvas, through pitted containers or directly from the brush or hands. First used by Pollock in 1947, this technique was widely used in the following decades, between the 1950s and 1960s, in all European informal art movements. This more recent work is intended as a tribute to this style. In frame.
