Oil on canvas. At the bottom right there is an inscription:\"to my dear friend Giuseppe Balestra-Edoardo Covino, May 4th 1896\". Edoardo Covino was a landscape painter from Turin active between the end of 19th century and the beginnig of 20th century; counted among the mountain landscapers. The painting comes in a revival gilded frame.
