Pastels on paper. Initials and date lower right. Full signature, date and title at the top right. Roberto Ercolini was an artist with a multifaceted personality, painter, draftsman and engraver, dedicated to a whirlwind experimental climate that characterized his career. After a first abstract-informal phase inaugurated in the mid-sixties, Ercolini's production of the seventies sees the imposition of the geometric subject, a favorite and traced back to the last years, from the 80s however flanked by the almost obsessive protagonism of that humanity always investigated by the artist. The proposed design is part of the first abstract-informal production. It is presented in a frame.
