Description : Ritratto di Giovanni Battista Bonanomi

Oil painting on canvas. Bergamasque school. Intense gaze of the gentleman portrayed, who presents himself with his blue frock coat and representative wig. At the back of the canvas the character is identified as \\\"Gioanni Baptista Bonanome, born in the year 1660 on the first 7th of November, portrayed in 1708 on the day of July 16. Mazzari pinxit\\\". The surname Bonanomi refers to a Lombard family, being widespread above all in the Lecco area, in the Milanese area, in the Como area and in Bergamo. The portrait, still on the first canvas, is in good condition, with only a few small drops of color mainly in correspondence with the left shoulder. It is presented in a gilded frame from the end of the 19th century.
