Charles X Chest of Drawers with Mirror Walnut - Italy XIX Century

Early 20th century

Ducrot" chest of drawers supported by turned feet, on the front it has three drawers framed between a pair of pilasters to support the undertop band; in mahogany, they are decorated with gilded carvings, the top is in marble. Vittorio Ducrot took over the management of his stepfather's furniture factory in 1902, renaming it "Studio Ducrot", managing to establish himself more and more in the field of artisanal and industrial production of Sicilian furnishings. Specializing in the design and manufacture of mass furnishings, he availed himself of the collaboration of some of the most important artistic personalities of the time. Among these must certainly be included Ernesto Basile, an architect who at the beginning of the twentieth century held the position of art director, leading the company to international success.

Lombardy First Fourth XIXth Century

Empire chest of drawers supported by truncated pyramidal feet, on the front it has three drawers framed between a pair of truncated pyramidal pilasters with herms and female feet in gilt bronze, supporting the slightly protruding undertop band in which there is a drawer. Veneered in mahogany, the interiors are in walnut, the top is in Bardiglio gray marble.

XIX Century - from 1801 to 1900

Chest of drawers Charles X from Piedmont, on the front it has three drawers framed between tapered pilaster uprights, to support the undertop band with the characteristic groove, in which there is another drawer. Veneered in mahogany, the interiors are in poppo, the white marble top was replaced later.

First Fourth XIXth Century

Model of an Empire chest of drawers, supported by plinth feet, on the front it has two drawers framed between a pair of columns to support the slightly projecting undertop band, in which there is another drawer. In walnut pedules, the interiors are in spruce.

Neo classical chest of drawers supported by curved feet; it has 3 drawers. Decorated with threads and marple inlays; poplar interiors.

XX Century - from 1901 to 2000

Supported by 4 feet connected by shelves; 3 frotal drawers. Burl veneer with ebonized wood frames. It was an old drop-leaf secretaire that had been turned into a chest of drawers.

Late 18th - early 19th century

Chest of drawers from North Italy, supported by shelf feet, on the front it has four drawers. In walnut, with maple threads, the interiors are in spruce.

Italy First Quarter XVIII Century

Bergamasque baroque chest of drawers in walnut extensively modified and restored in the interior. Italy, first quarter of the 18th century. Front with 3 drawers with tiles carved in walnut, threaded in maple and veneered in briar walnut. Spruce interior.

XX Century - from 1901 to 2000

Art Decò chest of drawers, has a drawer in the lower band, while in the upper one three drawers flanked by two curved doors. Veneered in walnut and walnut burl, the front is decorated with an all-round carved sculpture and two others are placed at the base of the mirror, as if to support it.
