Description : Doppio ritratto maschile

Oil painting on canvas. It is a portrait of two half-length male characters, wearing cloaks and cone-shaped hats with bright feathers; the harsh, dark and sardonic expressions make one think of brigade soldiers or brigands, or, for the liveliness of clothing, of actors who impersonate such figures. The work is presented in a gilded frame from the end of the 19th century, with shortcomings.
