Description
Chiseled and gilded bronze clock with large base decorated with leafy scrolls and plant motifs. The clock is surmounted by a young woman with a dove and snake held in her hands. Enamelled metal display with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes. Finely pierced bronze hands. Mechanism marked J. Contour à Paris, Vincenti & C.ie Medaille d'Argent 1855.
