Baroque chest of drawers in walnut, central Italy, early 18th century. Molded top, in front of 3 drawers plus 1 in the band, pilaster uprights resting on shaped shelf feet. Interior in chestnut, fir and poplar. Restorations and replacements.

Baroque chest of drawers in walnut with front of four drawers veneered in briar and handles decorated with a central mask. Interior in poplar and fir, two missing locks and signs of wear on the top. Italy 18th century.

France, Late XIX - Early XX Century

Rococo-style dresser veneered in various exotic woods, France late 19th - early 20th century. Shaped top in pink marble, front with 2 drawers with concealed chains, curved uprights ending in arched feet fitted with bronze slippers. Adorned with floral scroll inlays set within reserves and gilded bronzes. Interior oak and fir.

Italy Last quarter of the 18th century

Venetian neoclassical chest of drawers veneered in walnut and briar walnut, Italy, last quarter of the 18th century. Front with 3 drawers with reserves in briar of walnut; inlaid with floral motifs in maple and oval elements in bois de rose, the latter also used for the threads. Adorned with bands in olive wood. Rear cantilever feet replaced.

Louis Philippe secrétaire walnut veneer and walnut pedule, Italy mid-19th century. Front with 4 drawers and flap door concealing a cabinet with drawers and compartments, decorated with semi-columns. Walnut and poplar interior.

Germany, Late XVIII Century

Neoclassical chest of drawers in walnut veneer, Germany. Contoured top and molding. The front broken by a central folder in relief, is composed of three drawers. The front of these as well as the sides, have reserves decorated with marquetterie, contained by fillets in boxwood and darkened walnut. Bronze drawer handles depicting ram-headed vases, one pendant missing. Non-coeval handles and vents. A single central double latch lock allows the three drawers to be closed at the same time. Uprights decorated with boxwood and darkened walnut threads. Trunk feet – pyramidal narrowed by collars

Veneto, Italy Late XVIII - Early XIX Century

Venetian dresser in cherry veneer with herringbone pattern, late 18th-early 19th century. Top with quadripartite reserve, bois de rose threads. Front with four drawers, two of which, smaller, aligned in the upper band. Non-coeval handles and vents in neoclassical style. Body supported by slightly wavy truncated pyramidal feet.
