Oil on canvas. The large scene features the Immaculate Mary in the upper half, seated on the clouds and surrounded by angels, wearing a white tunic and blue cloak according to artistic canons, her head is encircled by twelve stars and with one foot she is crushing the serpent, symbol of the devil tempter, while the other rests on the moon. In the lower half of the painting there are three Saints: on the right, standing, pointing to Mary to the viewer, there is Saint Augustine, in bishop's clothes, with a mitre, a pastoral staff (resting on the ground) and with a book in his hand; on the left in the foreground there is Saint Charles Borromeo, kneeling in meditation, looking at the writing "Humilitas", his motto, which an angel shows him; finally in the background there is a prelate who recalls Saint Giovanni Leonardi, promoter of the Missionary College of Propaganda Fide. The painting is on the first canvas, and is presented in a period frame.

Italy Second Quarter XIX Century

Pair of walnut bookcases, restoration, Italy, second quarter of the 19th century. The riser and body have a pair of doors, each with blown glass; the uprights of the riser are embellished with fluted pilasters with carved leaf capitals. Poplar interiors, replaced locks. The riser and body form a single block.

Vertical locking filing cabinet (to be revised) in oak veneered wood, rubber top and brass handles.

Sliding door cabinet, in mahogany veneer, smoked glass, and brass-plated aluminum profiles.

France Late 19th Century Early 20th Century

Bust of a female figure depicting a young devout woman. The author's signature is barely legible and the date of production is engraved on the side.

Italy Early 18th Century

18th century walnut chest, Italy, early 18th century. Reinforced on the corners with sheet metal and equipped with double internal lock. Central lock missing. Restorations.

Oil on canvas. Lombard school of the 17th century. On the first canvas and mounted on the original frame. Set in a prison, the scene shows Saint Ambrose the bishop directing the person on his right, a soldier with a cross around his neck, towards the sky. He can be identified as Saint Victor, a Roman soldier originally from Mauritania, who served in Milan at the time of Maximian and was martyred for his Christian faith. It was the bishop of Milan who recounted the life and martyrdom of the saint in one of his writings and who spread his cult. On the left, another probable martyr of the faith, who witnesses the proclamation of the beatitude of his cellmate; around, numerous other figures of condemned men. The octagonal painting probably belongs to a series dedicated to the cult of the Holy Bishop of Milan. The canvas requires restoration and cleaning, presenting several stains and cuts (a tear in the centre, other smaller ones on the sides).
