Italy Last Quarter 19th Century

Pair of glazed terracotta amphorae with decorations on a blue background with plant motifs, masks and winged dragons. The amphorae feature paintings with figures and cherubs in the reserves, a spout with a large mask and a handle with leafy scrolls and a cherub.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Oval plate in polychrome majolica with relief workmanship. Masks and cherubs chase each other along the brim, while in the hollow four cherubs play with a lamb.

Tea and coffee services for 12 people in white porcelain with rich gilding and ruby applications. The group consists of a teapot, coffee pot, 2 sugar bowls, 2 milk jugs, 12 teacups with saucers and 14 coffee cups with saucers. Manufacturer's mark stamped under the base.

Italy, Late XIX Century

Oval majolica tray with shaped edge and polychrome Raphaelesque decoration with foliage and fantastic animals. Two dragons facing each other frame the Florentine lily, taking up a motif that is also quite well known in Deruta majolica. The blue mark on the back of the plate traces it back to the Bonato di Angarano manufacture (Archive of ceramic marks letter B).
