Italy, mid XIX Century

Louis Philippe secrétaire walnut veneer and walnut pedule, Italy mid-19th century. Replaced marble top, carved 45 ° uprights, 1 drawer in the band, flap door concealing a group of 4 maple drawers, large central compartment with turned columns and semi-columns and felt cloth. Pair of drawers in the lower part, molded plinth feet. Walnut interior.

Central Italy, Early XIX Century

Flap supported by truncated pyramidal feet, on the front it has two drawers surmounted by a high flap concealing a cabinet with a central compartment and drawers; in walnut, it is adorned with maple threads, poplar interior.

Lombardy, Late XVIII Century

Neoclassical secrétaire supported by truncated-pyramidal feet, on the front it has two doors surmounted by a flap door and concealing a scarab with a morocco top, a central compartment, small drawers and document compartments; there is a further drawer under the top. The cabinet is richly inlaid with maple designs within bois de violette reserves and bois de rose borders. Subjects of maggioliniana derivation are depicted, such as leaf and candelabra motifs, vases from which deliphines branch out on the lower doors, while on the flap is depicted, held by two ram's heads, a large floral festoon placed above two facing sphinxes. The sides are also richly inlaid with vases in the lower panel, while the upper panel features Minerva. Walnut interior, the marble top was added later.

Lombardy Mid-eighteenth century

Walnut veneered baroque flap, Lombardy mid-18th century. Upstand with pair of side drawers, front with flap door concealing cabinet, 3 drawers and curly feet. Tripartite by 3 ebonized frames, the piece of furniture is decorated with walnut root reserves, maple threads and cypress borders, the latter arranged to create a large heart-shaped cartouche on the front. Interior in fir. Cabinet restorations and replacements; non-coeval handles.

Veronese neo-classical drop-leaf secretaire supported by pyramidal truncated feet. 3 frontal drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides a central open compartment and small lateral drawers. Walntu slab with marple and olive threads and silver fir interior.

Piedmontese drop-leaf secretaire supported by shelf shaped feet; it has 3 frontal drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides drawers and a central open compartment. Veneered wood with Bois de violette threads, poplar interiors and walnut internal compartments.

Lombard Baroque trumeau, supported by corbel feet, on the front it has three drawers plus one small drawer, topped by a flap door concealing a cupboard with drawers. The riser has two doors with mirrors and ends with a moulded cornice; the original shelves in the riser have been replaced with glass. Veneered in walnut burl, it is decorated with characteristic ebony frames. Hardware replaced.

Centre Italian cupboard supported by shelf shaped feet; it has 2 framed doors, 2 pull out surfaces in the undertop band that support the folding door that hides drawers and compartments. The upper body has a paneld door. Walnut with poplar interiors; it had gone through restoration works to straighten the lower doors; the tympanum shped cimatium had been added later

France Second Quarter 19th Century

Charles X secretaire entirely veneered in mahogany and mahogany feather, also in the cabinet, France second quarter 19th century. Marble top, front with drawer in the band, door concealing cabinet with drawers and large desk top with morocco insert, three drawers in the lower section. Cabinet embellished with columns with ebonized elements. Oak interior. Replaced vents.

Baroque drop-leaf secretaire of Tuscan production supported by curved legs; the inferior band is moulded both on the front and on the sides; it has two drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides a compartment with shelf and drawers. Veneered in olive tree with ebonized threads. The internal writing surface is finished with the same motives; inside in silver fir and poplar. The cabinet has sockets with enameled medallions representing landscapes; the vents are a later addition.

Genoa Early XVIII Century

Entirely threaded and inlaid with geometric motifs, ropes and ribbons knotted in maple. Front decorated with citronnier folder and chinoiserie lacquered reserves, painted in gold on a black background with a vegetable theme; side folders and mahogany top. Oak interior. Missing castle.

Secrétaire supported by wavy feet, on the front it has two doors surmounted by an opening flap door concealing a cabinet with large central compartment and side drawers; there is a drawer in the undertop band. Walnut interior, it is entirely veneered with mahogany reserves and edging in bois de violette and bois de rose, the cabinet is entirely veneered in bois de rose; marble top. It needs restorations.
