Netherlands, Third Quarter of the XIX Century

Group composed of two different pairs of chairs in the Baroque style, Holland third quarter of the 19th century. Made of oak wood veneered in walnut briar, they have inlays in maple and other woods with small parts in ivory, the latter used both for the bird's eyes and in the petals of some flowers. The inlays are floral with vases on the open panels of the backrest. Wavy legs and back, claw and ball carved feet of a pair, removable seat cushions. This CITES document.

Italy, Late XIX Century

Group of four Louis Philippe gondola chairs supported by saber legs at the back and wavy front legs; the seat is padded, while the backrest is open, with a shaped central band. Made of walnut, they are adorned with maple threads. They have restorations.

Vienna, Late XIX Century

Group of twelve Josia Eissler & Söhne chairs in curved beech, Vienna, last quarter of the 19th century. Vienna straw seats, one of which needs to be restored.

Italy, Mid XIX Century

Louis Philippe armchair in cherry wood, Italy, mid-19th century. Wavy armrests ending in a voluminous curl. Front legs moved by the broken line. Removable padded seat.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Group of six Baroque chairs in lacquered wood, Italy, third quarter of the 18th century. Decorated with golden piping, backrests and seats in Vienna straw. Lacquering and gilding resumed later.

Early XVIII Century

Pair of baroque chairs with shaped backs and padded seats upholstered in leather, Umbria, early 18th century. Walnut structure, crosspieces and spool front legs. A coat of arms is painted in the center of the backrests, which seems to correspond to the coat of arms of the Fedeli family of Spoleto, portraying a dressed faith (in heraldry the faith indicates two hands shaking) with a six-pointed gold star at the top. The leather covering of one seat was replaced in the 19th century.

Italy, Early XX Century

Carved seat in Neo-Renaissance style, made of mixed woods, armrests culminating with dragon heads and lion's feet. Padded back and seat, covered in leather.

Group of 4 Charles X chairs in maple, Italy, second quarter of the 19th century. Embellished with phytomorphic inlays and dark wood threads, wavy legs. Padded seats.

Baroque style bench, supported by wavy legs; carved with rocaille-style leaf motifs, it is lacquered and partially gilded. Padded seat.

Neo-Renaissance throne in walnut, seat lined in leather and embellished with fringes, raised backrest with embossed leather insert with Greek key and central coat of arms, fixed with studs.

Directoire armchair in walnut, Italy, late 18th - early 19th century. Open backrest with lyre-shaped folder, removable straw seat, saber-shaped rear legs.

Pair of chairs supported by wavy legs ending in a curl, are carved with baroque-style rocaille motifs; partially lacquered and gilded, the seat and the raised and shaped backrest are padded.

Pair of eclectic armchairs in carved, lacquered and gilded wood, Italy, mid-19th century. Wavy armrests ending in a curl, wavy legs; decorated with leaf and golden scroll carvings. Padded backs and seats.

Pair of baroque style chairs, supported by wavy legs; they are carved with rocaille-style leaf motifs, lacquered and partially gilded. Padded shaped seat and backrest.

Italy, 1930s-1940s

Pair of 'La Soggiorno' fruitwood armchairs, Italy 1930s-1940s. Moved armrests, carved legs and front feet, upholstered backs and seats covered with different fabrics. Stamped under the seat ‘Brevetto Arosio’ and with metal plate on the sides ‘La Soggiorno brevetto n° 1352’.
