Description

Production Joseph Cross, York. The name appears in the lower quadrant, containing a small bubble level. On the back, the sliding bearing mechanism to the siphon for the measurement of atmospheric pressure. The manufacturer, of Italian origin, was active from 1820 ca. in the 1850's.
