The Antique Sideboard is a piece of furniture that has always been present in everyone's homes since the seventeenth century. If you are designing a new decor for your dining room, don't forget the sideboard. Many may think it's an Antique Furniture but it's actually very useful. If you imagine a family lunch, you always think of many courses and many people. All on the same table and the result is that you can no longer move. This is where the belief comes in handy. You can free up space by placing extra dishes on the sideboard and enjoy your lunch. Vintage Sideboard , however, are not only useful in these situations. When they are not used as an additional support for lunches and dinners it can be an Exhibition Furniture . A very cozy corner can be created in the dining room. Above the sideboard you can place doilies , vases, frames and many other small objects. Depending on the size of the dining room, the Most Suitable Sideboards are then chosen. There are different forms. The first choice to make is whether it should be a Low or a High Sideboard . And then accordingly choose the material and color. Ancient beliefs

The history of Sideboard begins in the seventeenth century. At the time they were furniture used exclusively for the banquet hall. They were Low and Long Furniture on which food was placed before giving it to the diners. The term " Sideboard " comes from an ancient tradition. In ancient times it often happened that to resolve a conflict one decided to poison one's enemy. To avoid this, many nobles used a person to taste their food before eating it. This was called Mastro Credenziere and carried out his job precisely on this Low Cabinet where he could place the food. When he had finished tasting all the food and found that none of it was poisoned, he recited a sentence: "Gentlemen, you have been offered Sideboard service!". This explains the origin of the name belief. Over time, then, the piece of furniture has undergone various transformations. The doors, glass and drawers are added. Despite these changes, its function remains the same. Even today it is used as a support for food and as a display of one's silverware , porcelain and fine services. In our catalog you can find :
