Description
An elliptical carved frame, molding with leaves and reserves with vegetable shoots. The frame is carved with volutes with flower shoots culminating with a shell on the frieze and with a mask on the base. Gilded. It belonged to the Piccolomini family, a fact that ensures its quality - which is perfectly deducible from the frame itself - the Tuscan manufacture of the mirror can be clearly recognized from the Baroque details such as the mask and the shell enclosed in a frame. Manufactured in Italy, third quarter of the 18th century.
