Description : Coppia di composizioni naturalistiche

Mixed technique on paper. The small paintings depicting winged animals within a natural landscape combine together painting technique (tempera on paper) and collage, realized with small colored feathers used to recreate different species of birds. They are leaning on the branches of a thin tree. Below the trees there is a varied selection of flowers. In one of the paintings there is also a hen near the trunk of the tree. Traces of moisture. The two compositions are presented in coeval frames covered with spoiled dark velvet. 1841.
