Description : La carrozza

Oil painting on cardboard. Signed in the lower left corner. Mario Pobbiati studied at the Brera Academy attending Cesare Tallone's classes. He used to paint landscapes and portraits, taking part to national and international exhibitions. Presented in revival frame. First half of the 20th century.

Artist: Mario Pobbiati (1887-1956)

Born in Milan in 1887, Mario Pobbiati studied at the Brera Academy, following Cesare Tallone's courses. He dedicated himself to landscapes and portraits, taking part in national and international exhibitions in Zurich, Lyon, Prague and Liège. His works are present in Italy (Gallery of Modern Art of Novara and Gallery of Modern Art of Milan), France, Germany, America. He died in Milan in 1956.
