Description

Statue made of sculpted lacquered wood depicting Liu Bei, a hero of the Chinese mythology. The depicted figure is sitting within an altar. The compartment on the back was conceived to hold propitiatory offers. Manufactured in China during the Qing age, 18th century.

Object in good condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
