Color lithograph. The English print, published in London in 1856 as written below, depicts the rural moment of the hay harvest (as from the English title "Hay-making"). It is taken from the work of John Frederick Herring Jr who mainly oriented himself towards the painting of animals and country life. The print is presented in a beautiful contemporary Empire style frame.
