Historiated decoration with mythological subject: "The Rape of Proserpina", also depicting Lake Pergusa where according to Greek mythology Pluto abducted Proserpina in the presence of her mother Ceres. Also depicted is the chariot with which Pluto took Proserpina to the underworld as his wife.

India, XIX Century

Octagonal top in inlaid marble, with floral decoration and polychrome chessboard. It belongs to the Indian production made for export to the West, linked to the English East India Company. The very calligraphic decoration and made with colored exotic marbles and hard stones are typical of the taste of this area of origin.

Germany, Second Half XIX Century

Pair of oil wall lamps in gilded and chiseled bronze with relief decorations of vegetal motifs, leaf scrolls and masks. Lampshade in white and green layered glass. Engraved trademark. The lamps have been electrified but the electrical system needs to be overhauled.
