Designer: Paolo Rizzatto
Paolo Rizzatto, born in 1941, is an Italian architect, designer and entrepreneur. His career spans several sectors: urban, interior, design and lighting. He graduated from the Liceo Classico Ginnasio Giuseppe Parini, and then graduated from the faculty of architecture at the Milan Polytechnic in 1966. In 1973 Paolo Rizzatto began designing objects, and among these we can find his first lamp (model 265). In 1981 he won the "Compasso D'Oro" award with his "D7" lamp. His works are integrated into the collections of various foundations including the Milan Triennale, the Museum of Modern Act in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan and finally the Musée des arts Décoratifs in Paris.
