Vintage Crocodale Leather Briefcase 1920s-1930s

Goyard Paris travel trunk from the 1920s. The rarity is also given by the black colour, obtained by covering the wood with waxed paper, which was used to protect it from water. He began producing trunks as one-of-a-kind and entirely handmade pieces as early as the end of the 18th century with the Maison Martin, which created quality packaging for valuable items. Francois Goyard was hired as an apprentice at the Maison in 1845, to later take the helm and pass it on to his son Edmond. Wardrobe trunk from around 1905, in wood covered in hemp, borders in peu de porc, reinforcements, profile and studs in metal. Set of leather suitcases from the famous Modenese company Schedoni, which produces bespoke leather interiors and sets for the finest cars; the partnership with Ferrari has lasted for over forty years.
