Description

Eclectic console in gilded lime wood, supported by four curved legs carved with floral and leaf motifs, as in the apron under the top, features baroque, late baroque and neoclassical motifs, carved crosspiece culminating in a large acanthus leaf. Grey marble top. Naples, 19th century.

Console with neoclassical style mirror in carved, lacquered and partially gilded wood, Lombardy second quarter of the 19th century. Shelf with mirror, console with yellow Siena marble top, uprights with scrolls, support plinth. Decorated with neoclassical-style carvings, such as Greek frets, phytomorphic spirals, leafy elements and rosettes, taken from the examples of Giocondo Albertolli. Elegant table with clear glass top, exotic wood veneer and brass feet. The elegance of a piece of furniture with lines and details typical of the 50s make this table suitable for a living environment but with a taste of yesteryear. Neoclassical game table from Piacenza, supported by truncated pyramidal legs tightened by a collar in the upper band and equipped with bronze feet, the undertop band is shaped and is inlaid in maple with phytomorphic motifs and a couple of birds; the top also has an inlay with a flowery branch on which there is a parrot. In walnut, the interiors are in spruce. The original mechanism that allowed the legs to be stretched is blocked.

Central Italy Empire desk, supported by lion feet, on the front it has a retractable door, which can be opened through a mechanism accessible on the bottom of the cabinet and concealing two drawers, it is surmounted by a smaller drawer. In the upper part there is a retractable roller door, concealing a pull-out desk top with a fake Moroccan insert (replaced later), equipped with a spring system that gives access to secrets; present compartments and drawers. The shelf has a single door with a mirror concealing a castle with compartments and drawers. The uprights on the front have the characteristic truncated-pyramidal shape, ending with gilt bronze drips and surmounted by female herms in burnished bronze in the lower body, while in the upper one there are Egyptian caryatids. In mahogany, the interiors are in chestnut.
