It offers a glimpse of a forest, with sparse, tall plants and an undergrowth full of rocks covered by a green lawn; through the trees, a gash opens up in the center, flooded with light, framing rugged mountain peaks. The painting, with a strong scenographic impact, is presented in a contemporary frame.

Angular Surface with Sofa

Curved corner sofa with shelf and mirror. The sofa made of mahogany has wavy feet and armrests with "whiplash" carvings and typical flowers highlighted by gilding, in the back with a perforated motif. Original fabric with a floral taste. The riser covered in red velvet, with a central mirror, has Viennese Art Nouveau ceramic tiles with the typical female figures with references to dance and music. Gilded bronze decorations. Group of 5 chairs in beech wood, spring padding and imitation leather covering. The product can be restored by our laboratory with an intervention that involves redoing the polishing, padding and covering by choosing from our different samples.

3-light gilt bronze chandelier, Italy, early 20th century. Glass necklaces and pendants.

Gucci suitcase in beige monogrammed canvas with brown pigskin trim. It is a rare item for collectors, probably born as a bag to carry boots during travel. The central band in green and red takes us back to the historic colors of the Maison. It has some small defects: stains and a rear zip that needs to be replaced.

Italy, XX Century

Trumeau with riser with acid-etched mirror with depiction of a female figure in the center and carved and painted wooden frame. Front with flap door concealing cabinet with compartments and drawers veneered in briar and three drawers in the lower band. The whole structure is richly decorated with figures in relief painted in chinoiserie on a red background.

Travel bag signed by Gucci towards the end of the 1950s and very well preserved over time. It is in white and blue monogrammed canvas with dark blue leather trim. The two bands are in blue and red fabric. This is an item for collectors, but can also be used today.

Ceiling bookcase in the style of Paolo Tilche, whose ideal positioning is in a corner, given the inclination of the shelves. Exotic wood veneer, enamelled metal upright.

Oil painting on canvas. On the back there is a vintage cartouche with the writing in French "Academic landscape; The bath of the nymphs disturbed by satyrs" and attribution to Hippolyte Lebrun (French painter working in Italy during the first half of the 19th century). The large scene is framed, like a backdrop, from inside a rocky cave in the middle of a green and shady valley. A river flows in it to form pools of water, in which a group of nymphs bathes, disturbed by some satyrs, who chase them and threaten them. The scene actually has a very playful character, like a mischievous entertainment between the different characters. The figures, small compared to the landscape, are an added component, which enhances its character of serenity and pleasure; the reference to classical culture is in keeping with the period of neoclassicism. The painting shows traces of restoration. It is offered in a stylish frame.
