Italy Early 20th Century

Lombard Baroque style flap in walnut and walnut root, made with antique wooden parts, Italy, early 20th century. Wavy front with stand equipped with a pair of side drawers, folding door concealing cabinet, three drawers, upright pilasters and forty-five degree feet. Decorated with rocaille-style carvings and ebonized frames.

Italy Mid-18th Century

Chest supported by double bracket carved feet, the front is divided by pilasters with phytomorphic inlays, and is decorated with panels inlaid with birds. In walnut, it has restorations and replacements.

20th Century Italy

Wrought iron torch holder resting on a tripod base, the structure is decorated with leaf, phytomorphic and floral motifs; entirely lacquered and painted.

Floor lamp with reflected light in enamelled and chromed metal and enamelled aluminium.

Lombardy, Last Quarter XVIII Century

Neoclassical vanity table, supported by truncated pyramid legs with brass details, on the front there are three drawers and two fake drawers; on the top there is a door that can be opened to hide the compartment and mirror, the latter having been replaced. Veneered in quadripartite walnut, it has olive wood borders and maple threads, fir interiors.

Creation of a tailor's shop by the Milanese entrepreneur Eleonora Scaramucci. Black cotton dress with bodice with side boning, draped neckline, low waist and airy double flounce skirt. Since there is no size label, we provide some measurements below. Breast circumference: 92 cm. Waist: 80cm. Hip circumference: 102 cm.

Oil painting on canvas. Central European school of the second half of the 19th century. On the right is Werner's signature. The painting presents a pictorial accuracy in the face of the woman portrayed, complete and well defined, which is however not found in the lower parts, where the quick and not redefined brushstrokes can be seen. The canvas has slight color drops. It is presented in a late 19th century setting.

France, Late XIX Century

Small Napoleon III open desk with folding door, made of rosewood painted walnut, France third quarter 19th century. Upper shelf with raised railing and three drawers in the band, flap door concealing cabinet with drawers equipped with gilded bronze handles, removable secret compartment and cloth insert. The cabinet is veneered in maple briar and decorated with bois de rose borders. Carved legs embellished with reserves, curls and turned pinnacles, culminating with curled feet and connected by a crosspiece with a padded footrest. With the exception of the legs, the furniture is decorated with ash reserves. Maple and poplar interior.

UK Size 14

Tunic dress in pure patterned silk. The front side is characterized by a play of geometric prints, vertical and horizontal lines of various thicknesses, polka dots and diamonds; the back recalls the striped print of the front on the sleeves and bottom while, on the back, it features a Prince of Wales weave print.

In the Sheepfold, 1857

Oil on wooden board. Signed and dated in the center of the left margin. On the back there is a label from an art exhibition held in Sondrio in 1966 and one from the Martina art gallery in Turin. Eugène Verboeckhoven, a Belgian artist, distinguished himself for his paintings of animals, inserted into landscapes or placed in the interiors of stables. He belonged to that school of artists who, starting from the observation of nature, created compositions studied in detail, idealized reproductions of reality. Thanks to his dexterity in depicting animals, many artists called on him to enrich their works with some of his animals and figures. Between 1841 and 1842 he visited Italy, Switzerland and Scotland. The work presented here, an interior of a sheepfold with sheep and chickens scratching around, is presented in a period frame.

Central Italy, Late XVIII Century

Neoclassical dresser supported by truncated pyramid legs with brass feet, on the front it has two drawers. Veneered in cherry, it is decorated on the front with baroque-style inlays; poplar interior.

Pure silk shirt by Ungaro. It dates back to around the 80s and has a loose fit, slightly batwing three-quarter sleeves with a narrow cuff, and a particular collar.
