Lombardy Last Quarter XVIII Century

Group of four neoclassical chairs in walnut, Lombardy, last quarter of the 18th century. Open folders decorated with geometric motifs with amygdala, truncated pyramidal front legs, sabre-shaped rear legs. Cane seats.

Central Italy Early 18th Century

Baroque sideboard in chestnut and walnut, central Italy, early 18th century. Opening top, paneled front. The piece of furniture is decorated with a Greek fret, moldings, diamond-shaped frames, turned circular and fusiform elements and uprights carved with a leaf motif.

Rolo Second Half 19th Century

"Prussian" table inlaid with various woods, Rolo, second half of the 19th century. Top with central reserve depicting Mercury's chariot pulled by a pair of roosters, turned frame, shaped legs. Embellished with geometric borders and maple fillets. The top is screwed to the frame using a threaded screw.

Lombardy Early 18th Century

Baroque console table in lime wood, Lombardy Early 18th century. Marbled moulded top, shaped under-top band and uprights, connecting crosspieces. The richly carved console table features reserves, phytomorphic and floral decorations, leafy and "C" shaped scrolls, curls and Greek frets; in the upper part of the uprights, mirrored leafy scrolls support lambrequins. At the centre of the under-top band we find a basket containing flowers and plant branches, while just below, at the centre of the crosspiece, there is a basket containing a fruit and leaves, placed within an architecture of scrolls with a crowned cymatium. Top replaced, restorations. This console table is a beautiful example that demonstrates the influence of French taste on Lombard Baroque.

Directoire sofa in walnut, Italy late 18th - early 19th century. Upholstered back, sides and seat, the latter with three removable cushions.

Italy Early 20th Century

Pair of different armchairs in walnut in baroque style, Italy, early 20th century. Open backrests with carved panels, wavy arms and legs. Structure embellished with carvings depicting curls, phytomorphic elements and rocaille taste. Cane seats.

Italy First Quarter 18th Century

Baroque carved and gilded frame, later transformed into a mirror, Italy first quarter of the 18th century. Carved frame with successive cloud motif. Mirror and frame replaced.

Table lamp adjustable by means of 2 joints; in metal and aluminium, the diffuser is in methacrylate.

Service trolley with mahogany veneered wooden shelves and solid wood frame, enameled metal. Restored.

Number 39

Black & white sandals with ankle strap and heel, with an original shape, with a mirror effect. The shoes are in good general condition, with some imperfections on the leather, due to use.

Ceiling/wall lamp, in brass and opal glass.

Oil painting on canvas. Unidentified signature lower left. Pleasant genre scene depicting a snack between acquaintances in the garden, where a table for tea has been elegantly set under shady trees. The social occasion is characterized by a certain formality of people's ways, perhaps acquaintances rather than friends! The painting has a small patch visible on the back. It is presented in a stylish frame.

Oil painting on canvas. Large scene of the Nativity, which develops on two crossed lines: a vertical dimension centered on the architectural structure in bricks and straw, the stable that gave shelter to the family of Nazareth, over which the angels hover announcing the divine glory; horizontal dimension in the lower half, composed of a multitude of figures: in the center the Holy Family, on the two sides the shepherds who go to honor the Child, bringing their simple gifts in nature. Of simple and popular taste, the scene is placed on a poorly defined background. The painting has been restored and relined, but still has large losses of colour. In frame.

Oil painting on canvas. Central European school. Signed H. Church lower left. Developed vertically, the landscape offers a green countryside, with trees and undergrowth; in the center a path that leads to some farmhouses. The painting is presented in a period frame.
