Oil on canvas. Sweet depiction of the putative paternity of Saint Joseph, who delicately holds his little son in his arms, who in turn strokes his beard, while they tenderly look into each other's eyes. Peculiar is the detail of the white cloth with blue stripes that the saint holds with one hand and which corresponds to the Talled (or Tallit), or the Jewish shawl used by men for ritual prayers. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a period frame.

Planetarium consisting of a gilded brass base, equipped with seven brass arms, on which the wooden planets are grafted, accompanied by their satellites; the larger solar globe is in ivory. The planetarium can be placed in the first half of the nineteenth century, that is, before the discovery of Neptune (1846) and its identification as the eighth planet.

The countryside landscape features a torrent that flows impetuously in the center, passing under the stone bridge that leads to the farmhouse on the right, surrounded by green foliage. The effects of light are emphasized by the use of a rather material color, especially in the foam of the water and the foliage of the trees. The painting is presented in a period frame.

It actually depicts a glimpse of the English countryside, with a rural house on the bank of the river, on which stands a fisherman. The painting is presented in a period frame.

Family Scene

Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right. The scene, set in a rustic kitchen, depicts a little boy who secretly drinks from a flask of wine, but does not notice his mother watching him hidden behind the doorway, curiously looked up and down by his little brother, who is on all fours on the floor. The Florentine painter Elena Nobili stood out for these family interior scenes, with an immediate and simple expressive language, enhanced by bright but delicate color choices. The painting is presented in a mid-20th century frame.

Oil on canvas. English school of the late 19th-early 20th century. Signed Drummonds lower left. The scene, set in the countryside, features an elderly farmer who, having stopped working in the fields, as indicated by the two draft horses harnessed to the plow behind him, reads a letter with the help of a young woman, while a small girl offers wild flowers to her mother. The letterhead reads the incipit "Dear father"; on the ground is the envelope with an address to England. The familiar scene evokes the tenderness of the young woman towards the elderly man, probably her father-in-law, with whom she shares the joy of the news received from the dear distant one. The work is presented in a golden frame from the mid-20th century.
