Oil painting on canvas. Italian school of the 17th century. The oval portrait presents the bust of a soldier in armour, severe and grim. The painting, relined, is presented in a carved and gilded frame from the early 1900s.

Bedside table veneered in maple, inlaid with various essences on the top and front to form curls and equally edged on the sides. Openable top and front to simulate two drawers without chain of which only the first can be opened "with door" concealing the internal lining in fabric. Oil painting on canvas. On the back there is a scroll with an old attribution to Hubert Robert (1733 -1808), a French painter who traveled in Italy bringing back various picturesque views and glimpses, populated by architectural ruins. In this work, the glimpse of a hilly countryside is set in a village with farmhouses and a fountain in the centre, in the midst of which however there are also classical architectural ruins: in the center three columns of a temple, further on the left the ruins of an amphitheater. Several popular figurines wander among the structures. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a frame.

Italy, XX Century

Baroque style trumeau made of various essences, 20th century Italy. Architectural cymathium with oval mirror, upper part with a pair of glass doors, body equipped with a folding door concealing cabinet, three drawers and shelf feet.

Pencil on paper. Signed on the back. The drawing is registered in the Fausto Melotti Archive, with code DIS 72006. Fausto Melotti was a multifaceted and very prolific artist and it is almost impossible to link his production to a particular technique or theme, without providing only a partial view of his vision artistic. The salient features that are constant in Melotti are geometry, the study of abstraction, which leads him to use realistic but not scientifically accurate elements, and arranging the elements so that they recall a musical rhythm, a detail that refers to his training as a musician Sculptor, painter, musician, poet, he made numerous design drawings for his works. Drawing represented for him a fundamental exercise, to transfuse the original graphic trait from sheets of paper into sculptures and ceramics. The sculptures for which he is best known are made up of geometric elements made with metals (brass, iron and gold) worked into thin filaments, giving life to ethereal, weightless and almost fragile compositions. The work is presented in a frame.

Open back with central folder, decorated with carvings of leaves, curls and anthems; grissinato seat front, saber-shaped rear legs, wavy front legs and embellished with carved leaf elements. Removable upholstered seats.

Two-layers brown tulle top with bead and sequins. The V shaped neckline and the the underbreast cut are marked by a beautiful framing of colorful sequins; the remaining fabric is decorated with geometrical and floral elements. It doesn't have a label but it suits an XS Brest 78cm, length 57cm

Console in French neoclassical style with top in breccia, carved in all its parts and partially highlighted in gold; lion feet. The two front legs have lion heads carved at the point of connection with the undertop band. Made of oak.
