Mechanical harpoon towing log/"Harpoon towing log" model A2, made of brass and porcelain, without stabiliser, fitted with three dials on the porcelain panel, of which the first records miles up to 100, the second records units up to 10 miles, the third records quarter miles. The four rotor blades are stamped with the anchor motif and the initials T.W. The design details and features suggest a production date around 1880.

Chest of drawers in mahogany veneer and mahogany feather on the front, Naples third quarter 19th century. White marble top, front with four drawers, one of which in the band, uprights at forty-five degrees with pilasters decorated with a rococo style element, carved floral and leaf festoons. Group of chairs that lend themselves to being customized with restoration work which involves careful cleaning of the metal part, replacement of the padding and upholstery by choosing from our different samples, so as to make them suitable for a Living environment with a Vintage style and to give new life to things.

Oil painting on canvas. The painting offers a half-length portrait of a young man who, in deshabillé, is lighting his pipe by drawing fire with a stick from the candle placed in front of him, on the table where a sword is also placed: perhaps it is a young knight in a moment of rest. It is precisely the candle, the only source of light in the scene, which suggests that the artist looked to the production of Georges De La Tour (1593 -1652), the French painter of the Caravaggio style who established himself for his "nocturnal" scenes, characterized by figures, usually low-ranking people rather than historical models or high-ranking figures, illuminated by the light of a candle, to create a special atmosphere of intimacy. The painting, restored and relined, is presented in a period frame.

Walnut style bench, 20th century Italy. Truncated pyramidal band and legs adorned with grooved reserves; brass feet. Padded seat.

England Third Quarter XIX Century

English Davenport equipped with feet with wheels, on one side it has a row of four drawers, while on the other they are only simulated. The inclined upper shelf has a Moroccan insert and can be lifted, this backsplash with drawer and finished with a railing.

Oil on hardboard. Signed lower right. Further signature, date and title on the back. Giovanni Balansino, Piedmontese by origin but Lombard by adoption, chose to depict his love for both lands with his painting made of broad and nervous brushstrokes, dedicating a large part of his production to them., which this glimpse includes of a town in the Lombard plain. Pencil on paper. Signed on the back. The drawing is registered in the Fausto Melotti Archive, with code DIS 72006. Fausto Melotti was a multifaceted and very prolific artist and it is almost impossible to link his production to a particular technique or theme, without providing only a partial view of his vision artistic. The salient features that are constant in Melotti are geometry, the study of abstraction, which leads him to use realistic but not scientifically accurate elements, and arranging the elements so that they recall a musical rhythm, a detail that refers to his training as a musician Sculptor, painter, musician, poet, he made numerous design drawings for his works. Drawing represented for him a fundamental exercise, to transfuse the original graphic trait from sheets of paper into sculptures and ceramics. The sculptures for which he is best known are made up of geometric elements made with metals (brass, iron and gold) worked into thin filaments, giving life to ethereal, weightless and almost fragile compositions. The work is presented in a frame.

Parma Last Fourth XVIII Century

Group of 12 neoclassical chairs in cherry, Parma, last quarter of the 18th century. Open back carved with festoon at the top and satchel with anthemium, fluted truncated cone legs, poded and carved with phytomorphic elements, carved vase feet. A partially gilded chair. Lacks and substitutions. Necessary restoration in the session.
