Openable top and front to simulate two drawers without chain of which only the first can be opened "with door" concealing the internal lining in fabric. Italy, Early XX Century

8-light chandelier with metal structure covered with glass beads, cascade pendants and crystal fountain stem. Italy 20th century.

Cabinet with hinged doors; stained maple veneered wood and oak band with polyester finish, brass tips.

Oil painting on canvas. On the back there is a scroll with an old attribution to Hubert Robert (1733 -1808), a French painter who traveled in Italy bringing back various picturesque views and glimpses, populated by architectural ruins. In this work, the glimpse of a hilly countryside is set in a village with farmhouses and a fountain in the centre, in the midst of which however there are also classical architectural ruins: in the center three columns of a temple, further on the left the ruins of an amphitheater. Several popular figurines wander among the structures. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a frame.

Liverpool c.1840

Writing desk in rosewood supported by twisted uprights framing pinnacle turned elements, they rest on feet equipped with wheels, connected by a central crossbar padded in leather. In the undertop band there are two drawers, which can be opened from both sides, one of which has a liftable writing top with a leather insert. It features stamps “A. Blain, Liverpool ”in five different points.

Europe First Half 19th Century

Wooden temple clock with applied bronze decorations. The base and the capital of the columns are in gilded bronze. Display with Roman numeral hours.

Mixed media on canvas. The large scene, painted in the unique reddish-pink range, features two large figures on the right, while the entire left side is occupied by a desert landscape, with the waves of the dunes fading into the distance. The two figures depict a seated horseman, wearing a turban and Saracen dress, being fed by a maiden in Western dress, who is handing him a tray laden with food, while on the shelf below is a basin of water, ears of corn and various fruits. This could be one of the many representations of the story of Angelica and Medoro, recounted by Ariosto in Orlando Furioso, which tells of the love between the Christian maiden and the Saracen knave wounded in a clash, who then fled together to Catai, thus triggering Orlando's madness. The work is presented in a frame.

Exotic wood veneered wooden table with polyester finish, wooden top with back-treated glass and brass tips. An elegant table by Osvaldo Borsani, a creation that started towards the end of the 50s, a line that met with good success and became a valuable piece of furniture for those years, so as to remain in production even in the early 60s. A piece of furniture which with its classic lines can still be inserted in a contemporary and current furniture but with a flavor of other times, with the value of a design piece and to be able to give a new life to things.

Soapstone sculpture depicting a Guanyin with a basket of flowers. Finely carved with beautiful workmanship of the drapery and attention to detail. Republic period.

France, Late 800s

Free-standing clock with rectangular marble base supported by four gilt metal feet. On the base rests the clock and a bronze patinated antimony statue. The statue with engraved signature of the author Auguste Moreau, depicts the allegory of the spring as mentioned on the metal label placed at the base. Display with Arabic numeral hours protected by a bevelled glass cover.
