T. WALKER'S Patent HARPOON SHIP LOG A.2.

Mechanical harpoon towing log/"Harpoon towing log" model A2, made of brass and porcelain, without stabiliser, fitted with three dials on the porcelain panel, of which the first records miles up to 100, the second records units up to 10 miles, the third records quarter miles. The four rotor blades are stamped with the anchor motif and the initials T.W. The design details and features suggest a production date around 1880.

Lombardy early 19th century

Bedside table veneered in maple, inlaid with various essences on the top and front to form curls and equally edged on the sides. Openable top and front to simulate two drawers without chain of which only the first can be opened "with door" concealing the internal lining in fabric. Porcelain cup and saucer with refined gold decorations and repeating polychrome motifs. In the reserves painted with landscapes.

Oil painting on canvas. The painting offers a half-length portrait of a young man who, in deshabillé, is lighting his pipe by drawing fire with a stick from the candle placed in front of him, on the table where a sword is also placed: perhaps it is a young knight in a moment of rest. It is precisely the candle, the only source of light in the scene, which suggests that the artist looked to the production of Georges De La Tour (1593 -1652), the French painter of the Caravaggio style who established himself for his "nocturnal" scenes, characterized by figures, usually low-ranking people rather than historical models or high-ranking figures, illuminated by the light of a candle, to create a special atmosphere of intimacy. The painting, restored and relined, is presented in a period frame.

Naples, Late XIX Century

Chest of drawers in mahogany veneer and mahogany feather on the front, Naples third quarter 19th century. White marble top, front with four drawers, one of which in the band, uprights at forty-five degrees with pilasters decorated with a rococo style element, carved floral and leaf festoons. Lower plinth section. Poplar interior.

Cabinet with sliding doors, open compartment and flap. Teak veneered wood.

Desk with typescript, formica-covered wood, enameled metal legs.

England Third Quarter XIX Century

English Davenport equipped with feet with wheels, on one side it has a row of four drawers, while on the other they are only simulated. The inclined upper shelf has a Moroccan insert and can be lifted, this backsplash with drawer and finished with a railing.
