Description : Sant'Antonio abate

Oil on canvas. The Holy one, considered one of the founders of monasticism, is pictured here with his iconographic attributes (the stick from the pilgrim surmounted by a bell), while meditating in front of a sacred text, and to the Crucified one. The characters of the writing of the book, careful to yield detailed and realistic, suggest a flemish influence. Restored and ritelato.
