Oil on canvas. On the back, a label belonging to an antique dealer and attributable to the setting of Giuseppe Maria Crespi (1665-1747). The lively scene full of characters is set at the gates of a barn. In the middle, the woman who is looking at the delivery of the goods by her tenants stands out. She is surrounded by a small crowd of mendicants. The representation is full of details and the popular scene is characterized by dark and intense colors in opposition to the pale background characterized by delicate and soft colors. The painting is presented in a revival frame. 17th-18th century.
