Artist: Amerigo Canegrati (1900-1938)

Born in 1900 in Milan, Amerigo Canegrati completed his studies and all his pictorial career in his city, becoming one of the representatives of 20th century Lombard painting and enjoying fame in the 1930s. He participated in the Venice Biennale in 1938, the same year as his untimely death. Several of his works are exhibited at the Galleria d'Ate Moderna in Milan.
