Oil painting on canvas. Signed in the lower right corner. Label with title on the back of the structure. Genre scene depicting a peasant preparing his donkey for the homecoming. Alessandrini was a painter from Empoli who studied at the Academy in Florence and then at Adolfo De Carolis' school. He used to paint clear landscapes and glimpses of his land with its environments, colors, lights and poetry which he considered not only a source of inspiration, but also a secret bond.
