Pencil and white lead on paper. The drawing is signed with monogram on the bottom right corner, next to the date 26-XI-1948. The artwork comes from the historical collection of Seveso, where the artist has lived and worked until his mysterious death. He was well known for having portrayed important figures (for example Pio XI and King Hussein of Jordan). He has produced very realistic artworks. This particular drawing depicts a satirical scene: a poor Franciscan friar with two well fed friars belonging to another order. It shows two faces of the same church. Framed.
