The same artist has painted similar views of this geographical area: its lakes, its mountains and its foothills. This particular painting is a view of the "Pianura padana", there is a sluggish stream and a farmhouse hidden behind the trees; in the background there is a glimpse of the Alps. The painting is presente in a guilloché frame.
