Ink and whiting sketch. Even if is not signed the sketch is presented as a piece of De Albertis because of the fast and capable line. There is an inscription in the lower part that had been added later: " 1894. Horse hunting in the Somma moor. Sketch made by De Albertis and commisionated by the King. Copy kept by antique dealer Valsecchi". There are also written some of the names of the represented figures as the King Umberto I with his horse. He was one of the most famous painters of the italian 19th century. He had been an ardent patriot tah took part at the Five Days of Milano and to the Indipendence Wars. The military enviroment brought him to mostly paint themes related to the army. He preferred to paint the cavalery. The drawing has some mends. Displayed in frame.
