Description : Mappa di Tortona.

Engraving on paper. It is a reprinting of 1704/1705 of Johanees Blaeu's work " Nouveau Theatre de l'Italie" by Pierre Mortier. The reprint was made of 4 volumes and included the slabs of Blaeu that had been touched up and partially modified and supplemented adding several new maps of the cities of the northen part of the peninsula. The atlas of Mortier was pubblished in latin, french and dutch. The engraving shows drops of humidity. Revival frame.
