Probably a fragment of a bigger piece, the piece presents some men figures dressed in oriental clothing, who participate in a cultural dispute; in the foreground, the orator speaks to the crowd in front of him, which he stares at with an intense and inquisitive look, with a hand resting on the bookstand from which he is reading the text he is speaking and the other raised in a gesture that accompanies his word. The other doctors are behind his shoulders, paying attention to his speech, The painting has been restored and recanvased in antique ('800 canvas). Frame in style.
