Oil on plywood. Signed and dated lower right. The artistic career of Giuseppe Castrovilli has seen him try his hand at researches in color and drawing, in oil, in watercolor, in lithography. He preferred the landscape and the city views, mainly of Venice and its lagoon, having his studio in Burano, but he also produced many of the city of Milan, of which he brought back atmospheres very different in characteristics from those of the lagoon. The painting is presented in a frame.
