Description : San Luigi Gonzaga

Oil on canvas. Italian School. The young saint is painted following the iconografical tradition, as a clerical while he is contemplating the Cross that he's holding in his hands and between his arms his holding a lily, symbol of purity. The small painting had been restored but shows small drops of color. Coeval gilded frame with small missing.
