Oil on wood. At the bottom right the signature, date and location. The Peruvian painter Daniel Hernandez stayed in Europe for a long time, first in Rome where he dedicated himself to the study of classical painting, then in Paris, where he was influenced by impressionism. he was a portraitist and genre painter. In this work, from the Roman decade, Hernandez portrays a character from popular history, a musketeer (or perhaps a brigand?) armed with a harquebus, standing close to a stone wall adorned with a coat of arms. The work is presented in a period frame.

OIl on canvas. North Italy School. Small glimpse of a steam that flows between the houses; we can see two figures, one is a soldier that is passing under the bridge on his boat; the other man is crossing the bridge while pulling a dunkey that is pulling a cart. The painting needs to be restored because of several drops of color of which the biggest one is on the left side of the bridge. It comes in a gilded coeval frame.

The portrait comes in a 19th century wooden frame decorated with leather leafy and floral inserts; it shows small color drops and missing parts.

These are two works to be proposed aligned because they depict a boy and a girl lying on the same lawn in a mirrored position, as if facing each other, probably intent on a love game: they wear gypsy clothes and have musical instruments with them - she a tambourine and him a violin - which refer to two characters of Slavic ethnicity, from the gypsy world. The whole is lively and serene. The two works are presented in styled frames.

The two figures of the Annunciation were painted on two separate tablets, then embedded in an older wooden table, presumably the door of a cabinet (due to the openings of the hinges and the lock visible on the back), and surrounded with more clear. The two figures stand out against the dark wood due to the vivacity of the colours.

Oil on wooden board. The painting pictorially reproduces the famous sculpture by Michelangelo, the Pietà of San Pietro or Pietà Vaticana. The composition of the figures is quite faithful to the reference work, but, as well as being painted in colour, it is placed in an open-air setting that refers to Renaissance painting, with the hill of Calvary emerging in shadow on the left. A coat of arms is painted at the bottom left, evoking a noble patronage. The work is presented in a period frame. It has several spots and small drops of color.

The painting offers in ancient style the glimpse of a landing place for fishing boats on the coast, near the village; on the shore in the foreground, figures of commoners waiting for the sailing ships. The color patina is also antiqued; the painting is presented in a 19th century frame.

Drawings on rice paper. They represent four scenes of popular life without backgroun but just human figures with few elements that define the scene. One of the drawers has small missings. The drawings come in a Empire frame.

Burin engravings on copper. Designed by Vincenzo Gazzotto and engraved by Antonio Bernati (1792-1873) in 1833, these are four engravings taken from the figurative repertoire "The costume of all nations and of all times, described and illustrated with an atlas" published by Lodovico Menin between 1833 and 1843. Each panel is numbered in the upper right corner, and bears in the upper center the indication of the geographical region and historical period of the costume scenes depicted. There are costumes: Lombardi sec. IX - X; Lombardi sec. XIV -XV; Tuscans sec. XIII-XIV; Marca Trevigiana sec. XIV. The engravings are presented in wooden frames from the mid-1900s, in an antique style.
