Piedmont, Early XVIII Century

Baroque chest of drawers from the early eighteenth century in walnut veneer with subsequent modifications, Piedmont, 18th century. Wavy front with drawer in the band, originally a drop-down drawer, and a pair of doors, also obtained by modifying the remaining drawers. The front is decorated with olive reserves embellished with chestnut threads and a central section in elm briar. Reserves also on the sides. Entirely adorned with ebonized frames. Walnut interior.

France Second Quarter XIX Century

Charles X secrétaire walnut veneered and walnut pedules, France second quarter of the 19th century. Front with drawer projecting into the band, flap concealing castle with compartments and drawers veneered in walnut and replaced leather insert, 3 drawers. Oak, fir and walnut interiors; 1 lock replaced. Originally it probably had a marble top.

With two doors, concealing a three-drawer chest of drawers inside, a further drawer is present in the under-counter band; There is a small splashback on the top. In mahogany, the interiors are in oak, with handles, vents and inserts in bronze worked with leaf and fruit motifs.
